An opportunity to be part of our future production.

It’s happening right here in Sunderland

By joining our production or maintenance team at AESC you’ll be working for a company that leads that way, not just within our local region but internationally. Alongside people who are passionate about learning and developing their skills, drawing on over 10 years’ of green energy technology experience.

Global leader in EV battery manufacturing

Working in our gigafactoryteam, you’ll be at the forefront of our industry.

We’re leading the way, and that starts right here in our local Sunderland operations – inspiring people across the globe and developing the world’s safest and smartest electric vehicle battery operations.

Our new Sunderland gigafactory will be at the centre of the UK’s net zero evolution, increasing capacity to manufacture more electric vehicles with our next generation battery - whilst becoming the first UK business to manufacture our own electrodes.

We’re looking for people to join our production team

Working across four key production areas, you’ll get the chance to work alongside state-of-the-art robot technology that allows us to manufacture at speed whilst ensuring our people can work in a clean and comfortable environment.

It’s a busy but enjoyable place to work, and there are plenty of benefits to ensure you can find the right work life balance that suits you.

There will also be plenty of opportunity to work overtime if you wish to, and we’ll share our working calendar with you a minimum of 2 weeks in advance – ensuring your job doesn’t dictate your everyday life.

We’re welcoming applications for maintenance technicians

You have the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment and advanced manufacturing processes, continuing to drive forward improvements while upholding our highest quality and performance standards.

Your skills and ideas will be embraced, and you’ll be working in a supportive environment with the assistance to progress your career.

Benefits designed around your needs

Without our people, we wouldn’t be able to produce our world-leading battery technology – so it’s important to us that we’re always looking at how we can best look after them.
